Duncan is an experienced, well-respected educationalist with a successful track-record of leadership and governance. In recent years, Duncan has established an outstanding reputation as a discerning strategic consultant and assisted a diverse range of businesses and schools across all sectors about their potential for positive change. Duncan has featured in The Telegraph, LBC and BBC Radio 4 as a voice of authority on the sector. He was a finalist for the Education Investor Strategic Consultant of the Year Award in 2023, 2024, 2025 & 2026 and nominated for the Education Investor PowerList Award in 2025. Furthermore, he is a regular contributor to the educational press and has chaired, or participated in, strategic panels for numerous associations as well as the Commission on the Future of Independent Schools at the House of Commons and as a guest of Baroness Spielman on Educational Trends at the House of Lords. He is an articulate and charismatic ambassador for schools and all related stakeholders – not least the children, who, he advocates passionately, should be at the forefront of educational policy.
ANDREW LEWER
UK Senior Advisor
Andrew Lewer MBE is UK Senior Advisor for Noble + Eaton. He is an independent school governor and serves on the Council of TISCA (The Independent Schools Christian Alliance). He is a columnist for – and sits on the editorial boards of – Independent School Management Plus and SENDsational Futures magazines. He is also an Educational Consultant for MTM Consulting and an Associate Partner of Anderson Quigley, all in the independent education sphere. He is the only person in the UK to have served as an MP, an MEP and a Council Leader and also uniquely has served on the Education Committees of two different Parliaments. As a Member of Parliament, he founded and chaired the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Independent Education for seven years and sat on the Education Select Committee. As an MEP, he served on the Culture and Education Committee and chaired the annual ECNAIS independent education conference in Brussels. He has also served as Leader of Derbyshire County Council, as a university governor, Deputy Chairman and Vice-President of the Local Government Association, Deputy Chairman of Visit Peak District and the Chairman of an UNESCO World Heritage Site.
